![]() Holiday MemoriesA Poem by Norman 223![]() Reminiscing during isolation.![]() When I retired from working life It was like a long holiday. We even bought a house by the sea But we still still kept going away. It seemed like every few weeks we’d
seek Some other foreign clime. 'Cos my wife said travel broadens the
mind Well, perhaps it did,….one time. But the biggest
problem, now, with me For my memory now has reached that stage Where I
don't know where I've been. I look at
all the photos that I can't identify I know I
took the pictures, but can’t think when, or why There are
ancient buildings, rolling hills and unfamiliar faces, © 2020 Norman 223Reviews
