Yes, spoken word is wonderful dear Norman, but I too forget and need refreshing, as your sweet Senryu suggests-"ergo"- the written word helps when accompanying it! :))

I sympathise,of course, Annette. But realistically the written word is the only way that I was able to share it. I no longer have my stentorian vocal chords to read it in public ..((.....:-)

It's so comforting to know that my sporadic literary meanderings still have not been banned, although I still get the occasional notificatiommn that the moderators consider me persona non grata.. I can easily over-ride it, so I think it's just a new Virus called " age discriminatus".* sigh*
It's so good to feel that I,m slowly getting back into harness again, but I won't be breaking into a gallop for some time yet.

Your aphorism,Jacob, still echoes with with mine, that hankering for old fashioned pen calligraphy. But how
relativly limited our writing would have been.
Delighted to become acquainted with the Café again, although rather more limited in output.
