Work Daze

Work Daze

A Poem by Chaos Complex
"

Had a talk with a PCA about how hard they work us at the hospital. Felt like writing this after that conversation.

"

Down to earth-

With the force of a comet.

Crashing so hard,

Every one can feel it.

I'm off my high.

I'm at my lowest low.

We're talking bout-

Scarred heart,

Broken soul.

Babe, I know you know.

I'm forgetting where I came from-

Brainwashed on the first day.

Have a seat,

Rinse, repeat,

There goes all your passion and heat.

Go ahead and eat the muck that they serve.

Pretty soon, time will fly by,

And you're only chow for worms!

They got you working all day,

For nothing at all.

Machines in a system,

That's oh- so flawed.

Worry your butt off about taxes,

Remember nothing about your strengths.

You're nothing to them but diligent.

You're nothing to them, if not diligent.

About
I like to express my emotions and feelings in poetry. I write a lot of rap/hip hop stuff. I'm really vulgar. Deal with it. I don't get many reviews, but thank you to those who even bother to re.. more..
