Lazy Love

Lazy Love

A Poem by NotYourChinaDoll
"

This isn't meant to be taken too seriously. I wrote it about a guy friend of mine who may or may not ever get married.

"
A hand to hold
A girl to kiss
A moment away from your loneliness

Someone in a dress
no matter who
You just need a yes
just need an "I do"

You've a litmus test
You won't vary by far
She must be perfect
but accept who you are

Too good for chasing
She must come to you
No need to "romance"
If her love is true

Like man waiting for duck
To fly in his mouth
Your plan will fail
Without effort yourself

This is great. It's most certainly true. I think a middle ground is helpful, a certain level of passiveness - because chasing too hard gives false hopes and relationships that shouldn't be.

Nice write, thanks :)
