Cole's Law...

Cole's Law...

A Poem by Hapless Tiki
"

Size isn't everything...right?

"
It's a word!  It's a saying!
The rest assured; you're staying.
Hit on a soft seventeen, bit a bite of crossed buns steaming,
outwit a gnat and lost literary dreaming.
It was a bad time for bad timing.

Riddle of a skit it was:
with backstage noise, front-center quiet.
Makes one wonder about the one where
the prisoner was freer than the warden.
Anywhen's as good as ever for priming.

Which came first the substance, or the form?
The snitch or the firm?  The chicken or the farm?
The question asked, and overheard, that night at the mall:
How can you be in two places at once,
when really you're nowhere at all?

For over 15 years I've thought of myself as 'a writer', but in those years I've produced approximately squat (in more ways than one). It's time for a little less aspiration and a little more perspira.. more..
