Gears

Gears

A Poem by ObscurityNone
"

How does your mind work?

"

I tend to notice that the first things that spring into my mind during a time of an argument are more so towards mediation and peace, and then at later times when reflecting back comes argument winning "speeches". All it goes to show is that my mind is geared more towards resolving the conflict through being indirect and compromising. Essentially allowing there to be no argument or for someone to see logic and reason, instead of just a reason to continue.

It would be interesting if others paid attention to what pops into their head first when a conflict may arise, and furthermore what they deem necessary to say given such a situation. Maybe try it yourself?

oh interesting... you are a peacemaker, a mediator, a very important role, I like this searching for your thought process, to learn about yourself and know your strengths/weaknesses. I think my mind is too clouded by cognitive dissonance, but I am persuaded by reason eventually.
