Waiting by myself

Waiting by myself

A Poem by Odaisha

Would it surprise you if I said that,
nothing else in this world matters,
to me if I know that nothing,
in this world matters to you,
as long as we keep our promise,
that no matter what happens,
nothing will ever break that,
promise,

Do you remember when you promised me,
that nothing else in this world would matter to you,
as long as we keep our promise?

What happened to the promise that we had?

Everyday I sit under the tree in the front after school as students pass by,
I sit alone waiting for you if you would ever come sit by me under the shade of the tree so we could
talk and laugh together.

Will you ever come say Hi to me again?

This piece comes across as either a life experience you've had, or another thing you wouldn't like to experience! I love this!
