Wonder

Miscarriages are never something anyone wants to talk about. Mine was devastating for me and I often wonder about the what could be's..

I wonder:

I wonder where you are, 

Or who you would have been, 

I wonder what it would have been like,

to hold you in my arms for even just a minute, 

or if you even knew you ever existed?

I wonder, 

to the depths of the sea, 

if you ever thought of me, 

I wonder if you could hear me talk,

tell you to reach for nothing less than the stars, 

to kiss you and love you, 

every second of the day, 

I wonder if you thought about any of these things. 

But mostly, 
I wonder if you are ok, 

if God will send you back, 

and this time let you stay, 

until then, 

ill wonder away, 

hold my head high and pray, 

until I get to see your sweet face.

I've always tried not to wonder those things... mainly because it brings the strong emotions that this writing did. It's such a sweet sentiment; did they know us? Did they love us? Do they miss us now? And will they ever return to us to stay? My thoughts are heavy with this writing
