Revenge?

Just something out of left field. I havent been here in awhile so trying to get back into it.

We escaped his grasp,

 with wide eyes, 

  finally seeing freedom, 

   for the very first time.

So we run,

 without looking back, 

  the beat of our hearts, 

   matches the pace of our wrath.

What do we do now?

 now that we are free, 

  now that we can see, 

   now that we can breathe.

Revenge? 

 the word sounds so sweet, 

  makes me want to turn the heels of my feet, 

   but what's better then a revenge of uncertainty?
