Making a baby

Making a baby isn't always easy.

As sad as she may be, 

she could never find time to cry, 

and as much as she wanted to, 

she'd always push the tears aside, 

the house needed cleaned, 

dinner had to be made, 

the little boy always needed her 

oh so helping hand in some way,

the husband would come home, 

ready and waiting, 

oh what had she done all day?

not make a baby. 

Every night was different, 

it was never the same, 

as much as she prayed, 

every month she'd been betrayed,

shed go to the small bathroom, 

and close the little door, 

hoping and praying, 

shed see the news shed been hoping for. 

With another bowed head, 

shed exit with a sigh, 

how many times had she done this?

maybe that is why she could no longer cry,

met with wide eyes, 

anticipating a response, 

but a simple no, was all that he got, 

and then the time would come, 

back at it again, 

another failed attempt, 

to create life with him.

very sad but that's what many couples walk through , you are blessed with writing skills and honesty to write and give those women a Voice ... failing to have babies is one of the worst feelings , it hurts to the core of been a woman

It wonderfully expresses. Honestly, I love this piece because it is so raw of emotions. It is can be painful when you can have something you want so bad, but it does not make you any less of a person. Darling.
