Condemned

Condemned

A Poem by Olivia Marie

Damned to the underworld
Condemned by man
They judge my life
As if they can
Persecute for sin
Reject my hand
All the hypocrites
Who walk this land

Refused of love
Walk the children of hate
Poisoned generation
By the abuse we take
They don't seem to care
what all's at stake
How they alter
Each of our fate

Endless are -
The tears we cry
Fire rains down
From the sky
You imprison us
Without saying why
I'd give anything
For a chance to fly

An empty life
A bloody hand
I doubt that you
Would understand
It's time for us
To take a stand
Lay our souls
Upon the sand

"To Hell" the scream
Push me away
I'm the demon
Formed of clay
But truly, please,
If I may,
I'm just a child
Who's lost her way

But billows up
Your raging song
The temple corrupt
Too far gone
We realize now
(It took us too long)
Very simply,
You must be wrong..
