Missing My Love

Missing My Love

A Poem by Katarina Alyson Jolie
"

Original free-form fiction My military love.

"
I look up at the moon
The same moon you can see
I feel as though I can
Touch you, feel you
I reach my hand out
To grab for your strong
Arm that always keeps
Me steady and strong
I find nothing but
The cool night air
Sometimes I forget
That you are so
Far away, fighting
Fighting for freedom
You are my hero
And it's hard to even
Go one minute without
Knowing you are safe
But it is worth it
Because I know that
I am the luckiest
Woman on Earth
To have such
A brave soldier
That loves me
As I love him
