A Day of Haste

A Day of Haste

A Poem by Omikron
"

A haiku-based poem describing a single day.

"
A morning in dew
An orange sun greeting me
With good intention

Kisses of questions
The birds seem to understand
And so they answer

Walk with shoes of haste
Trees seem to guide my dazed mind
Wish my worries gone

I travel with speed
A grain in a great sandstorm
Rushing to nowhere

Mighty orange sun
I drink the sweat on my lips
A bee greets me

A flower has died
My legs seem to need a nap
My brain is not here

The wind moans lowly
I can hear it calling me
I fly home with haste

Orange sun is cursed
Evil seems to be creeping
A tear has emerged

My mind is hazy
The trees have fallen silent
Tears have company

The sandstorm is still
Home of haste stands before me
Preparing for speed
