1. Tussilago Farfara

Grounded in solid stone and concrete
In the cracks of civilisation
Stood a coltsfoot, ever yellow
And greeted my feet.

Rocked by the wind, it danced
With a grace rarely found
A grace no human would know to imitate
For humans are not coltsfoots
They are not graceful.

Little coltsfoot, what can you teach me?
I am grounded solid, weighted by stone and concrete
Unable to stand tall in the cracks of civilisation
My only possible course of action
Is to walk on your prime grounds
Blessed to shine ever yellow

By your grace, I will stand
To be rocked by the wind
And quietly wish to be a coltsfoot.
