What to Feel

What to Feel

A Poem by Omikron

What to feel
When the fire demands rage,
and the rage is quenched.
When the water demands a sacrifice,
and no one is willing.
When my very essence demands pain,
yet pain is prohibited.

Such bittersweet ordeal.

I am expected an undisturbed mind,
Which I cannot attain.
As the fire cannot burn,
and the water cannot flow
without pain.

What to feel.
