Blackbirds

Blackbirds

A Chapter by Omikron

Blackbirds aren't black, but harshly brown
Dressed in the midnight sky as gown
Dark shadows travel across the stars
While they spread the shade of crusty scars
Embedded in the opulence of the dark and lonely
One could compare them to matrimony.
