IT WANTS ME BACK

IT WANTS ME BACK

A Poem by Miss Sharon

Sleeping fitfully, catnaps shuffle dreams
To keep me asleep. It's pointless.
I wake to white sounds of snowfall
As I try to remember what day it is.
All night my body ran on without me...
Now it wants me back.

I do like this poem. Had the feel of dream and struggle to find the proper place again. I like the ending. Left the reader with question. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Made me think this morning.

You are welcome.
Aweh this almost seems sad, like depression, takes a big toll on your life as well. I like how precise and smooth it is.
