THINNER AIR

THINNER AIR

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Adventure at altitude.

"

The inner light from canyons deep
Wherein I lay me down to sleep
To rest my soul from troubled days
In solitude, a place to pray.

To feel the pulse of nature's hand
Upon the hillside where I stand
I glimpse the inner light of grace
Upon the mountain's eastern face.

To climb into the thinner air
With boots and crampons gathered there,
Is more than dreams or wishes due
But everything I've hoped...for you.

And on this day, at summit's peak,
With tears of joy...I cannot speak!
The inner light I hold within,
Was birthed upon a snow-capped rim!

Rhyme scheme is steady, message is great! Great work, makes me feel nature is a place to go to for comfort and warmth. That is very true and very transcendental! I like this.
