MOMENTS OF EXPECTATION

In moments of expectation,
Where the moving of time delays...
And tomorrow greets today at dawn,
Then I but aught can say...

Life's spirit winds behoove me,
In an understanding way
When an unexpected moment
Bows my heart...and I must pray

There can be a moment when prayer is a gasp of time that happens without request or demand. Something glorious touches the heart and mind, needing to be acknowledged.

Right or wrong, that's my interpretation of your gentle words.
