ALL WE LIKE SHEEP

All we like sheep have gone astray
To seek our willful way.
We search for peace and happiness
By things we do and say.

We travel many lonesome paths
And every one provides,
Another step t'wards emptiness
That in our heart resides.

As time goes on and we are worn,
We seek a different view.
We want control but find it not
As if our days were through.

But on one dark and restless night
We offer up a prayer.

Please place me in Your care.""

At once a breeze of gentleness
Wafts 'round me oh so sweet.
I feel the touch of angel's wings...
My Savior then I greet!

I prayed that prayer in Ranchos de Taos while standing on a small hill overlooking our garden .. though it took about 3 months for me to begin the changes that would set me on my life's trip in hand with God ..how can such a thing happen ..never ceases to amaze me ..you have said it so well Miss Sharon ...
