IF ONLY I COULD BUY SOME TIME....
 

The mirror in my dressing room, The clock upon the wall... Tell secrets of the days gone by: The bigger things...and small. It seems like only yesterday I held my children here, And watched them play on sandy beach Out in the clean salt air. They grew too fast and left too soon, It's every Mother's heart. If only I could buy some time... By making one new start. But things are most times meant to be The way that they are giv'n. And I'm so grateful for my time Right here, this side of heaven. ~~~

this was a beautiful poem. i can feel the pain in the womans heart and her regret. she wishes she could have the time back to experience those memories again. sadly time moves away and never comes back. we can only hope on our memories. this poem was wonderful in bringing out that aspect.
