Upon the breath of winter When the snow be-frosts the ground, A stillness ushers in its calm While making not a sound! Serenity lies present To instill a peace within, And everywhere the eye can see There's magic on the wind! All nature stands adoring While the mountains lift their voice, And I am awed to witness All the beauty of Gods' choice. i think you have captured in words the feeling I sometimes know. it's kinda a frozen animation deep within. it's like the frozen winter freezes us still within. When after a long season of too much inner turmoil comes to a halt with it. We sorta blend into one with the cycle of nature. in spring we feel the growth, In fall we feel the gathering for the dormancy coming. Come winter we become still. I guess it's not a conscious thing but when we feel it we know it and are one with it.
