IF WRINKLES WERE DOLLARS

IF WRINKLES WERE DOLLARS

A Poem by Miss Sharon

IF WRINKLES WERE DOLLARS

If wrinkles were dollars,
I'd be a rich gal.
And every so often,
I'd call you my pal.

We'd go off to play like
We used to do too,
And find a new penny
To put in my shoe.

We'd play in the ballpark
'Till setting of sun,
And day would be over
Before it's begun.

Seems childhood was shortened.
Where did the time go?
But one thing's forever...
It's "I LOVE YOU SO!"
******************************

Thanks to my hubby for loving me...wrinkles and all!

Gee
You can't buy true love Miss S as you well know.
My wife would be minted if she had a dollar for Each of my wrinkles.
Enjoyed and related to this.
