Is the Covid virus a warning sign?

JUST A SIGN

Where have all the children gone?

Where is all the laughter?

Where is play out in the sun?

Is this ever after?

Great the challenge as we sit

In our homes...remorseful.

While a virus strikes its claim

On those non resourceful.

Happy days will come again...

So we're told in writing.

Yet I wonder if it's true.

In my mind there's fighting.

Is this truly just a sign.

That our time is ending?

And a message from above...

One that God is sending!

i honestly can not help but wonder Sharon .. that a viral infection has so easily wreaked such havoc around the world .. so much misinformation .. statistics that fuel fear but could be given in a truer light .. all the covid deaths counted are of people who died of other causes and merely tested positive for covid .. so its virulence is skewed ... makes me wonder for sure .. i feel the frustration and sadness in your words .. its the not knowing that buggers us most i think :( i am fortunate ... my life has not much changed .. my closest neighbor is 1 acre away ... and the rest of the homes scattered over hundreds of acres ... i am a bit reclusive anyway and go to town once a week perhaps ... plus i'm retired .. so the unemployment plow doesn't go down my lane .. i hope you are ok ... times of self seclusion can be a good time for introspection ... re-grouping .. getting stronger ... certainly a relevant and important theme ...i am engaged by the every day langauge .. almost conversational quality of the lines .. and i especially appreciate bringing in God ... the all important piece of all things eh!? ;)

My wife asked that only this morning
I am to keep away from people Immunity system collapse in Jan > tablet strength being reduced monthly
She is forgetting things > on tablets now

We are locked down with people dying by the score
Virus spreading around the world

Is the world coming to an end she asked
At least we have her here with us to take her rides when the weather is suitable
If would fear for her sanity in a home
