The Secret Admirer

The Secret Admirer

A Poem by Orahemae December

It all started with a letter,

Heart hidden within.

The subtle hint of love,

Flowing from my pen.

He smiled and winked,

His soft hand's touch.

He holds me close,

Never too much.

The next day came,

It just wasn't right.

Never a word,

But always in sight.

My head is spinning,

Don’t understand.

"What’s going on?"

My only demand.

It all started with a letter,

Thus it ends the same.

My hidden love finally spells,

My always hidden name.

I LOVED this. LOVED it.

"My hidden love finally spells my always hidden name." That's so sad, but I really felt the emotional impact it had on the reader. Great work.

Now this is so sad, made me want to cry....so very well penned. Felt the emotions written with your words. Talent of a true poet when you write from your heart. Gypys_Moon
