Asylum

Asylum

A Poem by OrangeSlice

Demented voices echo in my head

Bouncing off the hallways built within my skull

My little padded room hold in my screams

Let the walls close in, pure and laced in white

Be my peace in the insanity

Let my bones crack, mold me

Chill my blood, consistent and cold

Be my sedative and numb it all

I surrender, gazing at the flickering lights

Smiling through a blurred image

I look to you and think I got one thing right

Twisted and bizzare. Right up my alley. Well written.
