The "Le Temps" girl

The "Le Temps" girl

A Poem by OR
"

This is very personal poem, hope you like it :)

"
If life was nothing but a flashlight or a small glow
And love was nothing but a stormy weather or a huge flow

If by a miracle I was blind and now I can see
Because even without seeing your face you got into me

I know the words are too short and too crazy to say
But I'm not going to lose a moment of my life no way

Life is too short to lose it on regret
And love is a game, you're the bookie and I'm ready to place a bet

Between you and me there's a long way
Nothing to do, but much to say

I'm nothing but a fighter on a field
but for you I'll throw the sword and the shield

Read this and I'll live in your heart for a while
Then I'll die like a name dies on a lost file

Excellent work.. I really enjoyed this piece. To me, it was almost a comparison of sorts--a comparison of real love vs. fake love, in ways. It was short, sweet, and to the point--to use an old cliche--but it was exceptionally effective. The imagery was very real, very concrete, and easy to imagine. An excellent work.

Interesting, your word choices make the urgrncy to experience life at it's fullest quite evident. In all, a very appealing poem.

Not quite a Le Temps Detroit Tout cause you continue to fly with superb virtue and intention. Nice lift.

A beautiful write. ^_^
It captures such affection and devotion. Love has the power to turn us into many things. You captured it quite well.

love...what a beautiful idea. i love the comparison in the first two lines; life is a tiny flicker of light and love is this vast tempest. life is secondary to love!

@Everyone : Thanks a lot
And forgive me for not reviewing a lot but I hardly get connection here, and I'll read as much as I can

@Intern'l Shultzfeather : lool I wouldn't for sure encourage fornication because I believe in true platonic unphysical love and because I'm Muslim too :)
