Shadows

A short little something. I don't know where this one came from.

Twisted perceptions,
Of who we are,
Those little flickers,
In the corner of our eye,
Dark and dangerous,
They don't say much,
They have no feelings,
They are just shadows,
Shadows of the night,
They haunt and they taunt,
Those who see them,
Always there,
Always watching.
