Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

"

A scrumptious liquid chocolate/chocolate cake mix.

This is an awesome cake; chocolate cake on the bottom, melted chocolate on top. The ingredients are so spread out, so I couldn't really make an ingredients list. Be sure to read the recipe all the way through to make sure you have everything.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Follow Instructions IN ORDER!!!
Mix:
2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cups cocoa
2/3 cups brown sugar
Set aside

Whisk until smooth:
12 TBS butter, melted
2/3 cups cocoa
4 oz bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, melted
Set aside

Mix:
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 TBS vanilla
2/3 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 egg yolks
After mixing those things, add the melted chocolate mixture, and mix until smooth. Add in 1 1/2 cups flour and 4 tsp baking powder. Pour into a greased 9x13 glass or ceramic baking dish and spread evenly to sides and corners.  Sprinkle cocoa sure mixture over top covering the surface of the batter. Pour 1 1/2 cups of water gently over everything. Set it in the oven and bake until the cake is puffed and bubbling, and just beginning to pull away from the sides of the baking dish. That should take about 45 minutes. Cool 15 minutes before serving.

PS: When eating leftovers that have been in the fridge, be sure to heat it up in the microwave first, so that the chocolate is melted again.

SwagMaster
It's not the prettiest dessert, but looks can be unbelievably confusing.

Mmmmm - this looks so decadent and mouthwatering! I'm seriously tempted to try it.
