Nostalgia - Fragments of Lost Days From Before

Nostalgia - Fragments of Lost Days From Before

A Poem by L0v3craft
"

An old piece I did back when I was [i think] 16 or 17. Cleaned it up a bit :]

"

To summon lost and wayward souls

Deep within catacombs where decaying bodies lay

A strange wind forms a ghostly choir

As twilight peels the folds of Night over Day.

Snow descends from misty ancient heavens
Like fallen angels lost in the night

And comes to rest on raven’s wings

Covering black feathers in ivory white.

The icy tears of winter cling to trees
And set the woods aglow with pale, surreal light
A silent dream forms within the earth’s core
Beneath the ebon shroud of night.

This isn't exactly unique-- Nox Arcana's "Vigil" heavily influenced this, I'm embarrassed to say. Hmm...maybe I should've kept this one in the closet T-T
