Him/Her

Him/Her

A Poem by Passingdaze

He was alone...

The air was stale,

His heart heavy.

The tree he sat under was weeping...

His mind was blank,

Like the canvas of their love.

She couldn't look at him...

The words had been said,

The apologies forgotten.

The voices she heard were real...

Throbbing in her head,

Eternal wounds revealed.
