Three Sunday Morning Senryu

Three Sunday Morning Senryu

A Poem by John Alexander McFadyen
"

As it says on the tin!

"

Nagging

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick,

as she drones on, incessant

in condemnation.

Spring Bird Song

There is excitement

in the air around Goose Barn

as nesting begins.

Sun Day

Blue sky on green grass

means I take to the garden,

basking in nature.

Thank you Coyote John. Our weather just took a turn for the worse again lol!
What I like here is the way they bind three unseemingly different themes, or at least one, and put them into an Einheit, or combine them into one thought..excellent!

They are all perfect Haiku as well, all of them describe Nature beautifully. I hope you had a wonderful Sunday!
I can't help but pick the spring Bird song as my favorite.

Thank you so much Mrudula. Glad you liked them. I guess I see haiku as more complex.
