Broken

It's a sad, sad situation.

When a beautiful heart

cuts you off,

cuts you dead,

it cuts deep,

slashing at your

very being,

lacerating your soul,

shredding it

until it is so

empty,

so unfulfilled,

so totally bereft

it begins to die.

When someone you

loved dearly

in time,

closes the door

in your face,

blocks you

from their lives

you are blocked from

life itself,

and oxygen

has no place

in your lungs

as you suffocate,

slowly but surely.

so very true John just recently I lost my aunt of whom lost her partner very recently seems sometimes the spirit is not willing when its billow has passed away. so they are together again but for a brief uncomfortable lapse
