Declaration Of Faith

Sometimes death is harder than living. Large dollop of poetic license used here!

I tried to hang myself tonight,

but the courage escaped me

as the noose tightened,

just as it has when I have had to face up

to the failure that I am,

and have always been.

wow...now that is failure...can't do anything right...not even suicide...
tough to reach this point...i think Sylvia at times thought as this poem expressed...with her unsuccessful attempts...
