Staring At Blank Paper

Staring at blank paper

wishing for words to flow

a heart once full now empty,

I dream of celestial shores.

 

Like two eagles soaring in the sky

we rose above the fray

and the love we shared in poetry

I still cherish every day.

 

As morning breaks I still feel you

my love to you I send

and live with the hope that one day

we will meet again.

As hard as it is to find the words sometimes, it seems you have the secret to it. Yet another beautiful read.

Yes it was wonderful. I stayed in Fremantle which is a western sea port, very quaint and historic. No kangaroo sightings unfortunately!
