Lost The light

Lost The light

A Poem by S.A. Laminak
"

The sun always is there for us, trying to warm our hearts and trying to light our way

"

In this world of wrath and tears,

This world of terrors and broken mirrors,

The sun so lost within the night,

Shines against the moon so bright,

Lighting the way for the forlorn souls,

For all of us, our hearts so cold,

All lost within the days we mourn,

Remembering baring horrid scorns,

With our bloody palms and malice thoughts,

Are we the darkness we had fought?

Are we the darkness that let us rot?

With backs all turned against the sun,

Eyes shut and hearts stunned,

Remembering with horrid scorns.
All lost within days we morn.
Remembering with horrid scorns.
All lost within days we morn.
Remembering with horrid scorns.
We had brought forth the dark.

The sun had known from this the start.

Still, though lost within the night,

It shines against the moon so bright,

Lighting the way for the forlorn souls,

For all of us, our hearts so cold.
