Secret you

Secret you

A Poem by S.A. Laminak
"

The poem I wrote after being played by a guy.

"

Hidden in abandoned buildings,

Walls became our shielding.

We never let our hearts be shown,

But for a moment I was not alone.

Then by morning, hard and cold,

I’d wake without a hand to hold.

Then I realized the sad truth,

I only ever wanted you,

But I was being fooled.

Powerful poem! Great rhyming too, i like the line, "then by morning, hard and cold, i'd wake without a hand to hold."
