Stargazer

Stargazer

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

sweet aromas...

"
Stargazer Lillies and butterflies are essential when

breathing has become difficult and fevers abide ...

Trumpet shaped exotic blooms attract pollinators

delightful butterflies dance between petals...

Falling Stars rest upon the aura of healing prayers

when the world is looking for a miracle cure...

as fragrance fills the room where Hope resides...

While I don't mean to say that we don't need the upcoming medications that are being developed, I read your poem as a suggestion that we find our cures primarily in nature. This could be the obvious route, which is making teas or tinctures from natural sources, but your poem seems to harken more to the idea of living as nature lives, in order to reap the harmonies that are so abundant in nature. A steady way of life spending time around harmonious flora & fawna changes the way we react to the inevitable ups & downs of life. I was picturing this scene as I read it -- great imagery & motion & fluidity of word sounds (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

As always your words are full of your love and appreciation of the All Around . So many of us like you, know the glories of an unfamiliar hidden nature: the smaller but prolific weeds, wild flowers that are here on and in earth for a reason. People accuse weeds, BUT why are they so numerous, who planted them in the first place.. we have only to think.. and learn. Thank you dear lady.. a fine and wisely put poet. one to rememer

A miracle cure as prayers ascend where
butterflies descend with sips of nectar to
