Tales of Love with Tea

Tales of Love with Tea

A Poem by Patricia Wedel

In a World of broken hearts that need mending

there are Tea Rooms for healing of the Blues...

Sonnets linger in afternoons of quiet moments

when Mothers share their secrets with daughters

sharing philosophies of endearing remedies that soothe

the tender feelings of youthful encounters that entice

the heart and soul that somehow were only a prelude

to the Symphony of a long enduring life of Wonder and

Enchantment with traditions that keep the family entwined.

Sharing Tea from the West Indies and Crumpets with Apricot Jam...

The taste of the Netherlands and Wooden Shoes with

Windmills turning years into tears of tangible Tales of Love.

Dedicated to my friend Lydia...

How many thoughts and conversations are shed over a cup of tea. As always perfect imagery Pat.

I love the idea of sharing thoughts with loved ones over a cup of tea; For some reason we don’t do that in the USA, although I must say should it be over a glass of wine? Lovely poem Pat

Hello dear Pat. I loved the poem and Merry Christmas my friend.
A Gift for the Holidays when we experience moments of
unexpected heart-felt memories that bring together the
past and present. May your days be filled with garlands of
love and flowers and the Music of Mozart. gently, the Author, Pat
