Ship of Dreams

Ship of Dreams

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Secret sighs of Romance...

"
Free to seek the Wisdom of the Earth and Wind

where Clouds of Romance dance endlessly...

The Sun brushes the Waves where passions play and

linger in the longitude of Hearts forever tethered...

Moonlight memories in an Old Sea Chest with

Pearls discovered in secret shells of exquisite ecstasy...

My Sea Captain and myself spend timeless moments

on Islands where Palm Trees sway with Coconuts and

Dolphins splash against the Waves of Destiny...

What a beautifully romantic write Pat. Just love the idea of a being on an island with sea breezes wafting through palm leaves. All undercover of moonlight. Being there with your own Sea Captain whispering sweet nothings to you. Must be a beautiful dream Pat. Happy Easter Monday dear friend.

This is the second poem about dreams I have reviewed tonight. I wish my dreams were as pleasant as the one pictured above. All I get are meaningless snippets that vanish within minutes of awakening. I think I need to subscribe to another channel.

Ah what romance, in such lovely settings; I love the sea images, the old sea chest, your captain, islands where love meets sea and Sand, clouds of romance, what a lovely phrase; sea pearls covered by their shells open to offer jewels to the hearty sea farers; this poem is exquisite, the content, the flow and everything else
