Mothers love to tuck you under the Covers... 

and tell you stories of fields of Lavender 

where Dreams can be delivered with laughter  

A bruised knee and a Bee sting can be kissed... 

Hearts heaping with Mischeif and Leprechauns 

leaping hither and there in the Clover... 

Whatever the Situation Mothers love is shared. 

Even if Skies are stormy with Thunder   

They will be your Constant Care... 

And when they leave this Beautiful Earth... 

Mothers' Voice will be Heard.

On mother's day, you share some beautiful thoughts here Pat which remind me of the love my own mother had for her five children. Unconditional love in good times or bad, she was there for us. Her loss leaves us rich in memories though sad at heart. Her voice will still be carried in us. I know you wrote this one with your own dearly loved and departed mum in mind. You have shared her with me before. Your lines are full of tender love and emotion.

dearest Lisa… Inheld and rocked my daughter by a Black Irin Stove… just for sentimental reasons … as my Grandmother Minnie had rocked her six children by the Warm woodburningvStove in West Virginia I bought our large Black Stove in an Antique Store called Whute Elephant and had it installed in the Chimney Flu in our Family Room in an old Cottage. Very nostalgic days in 1976.. our Bicentennial Tear for the USA. I cooked many a Pot of Meat and vegetables every day for a delicious Dinner when Papa came home… just as my Grandma Minnie had done. tenderly, Pat
