I Believe in Fuzzy Bumble Bees that will 

Pollinate each bright Red blossom... 

Lightening strikes and Thunder Roars 

to the Beat of Sandpiper Tweets... 

Yellow Poppies bask in Summer Showers 

Earth Angels Hum as Lambs Run among 

the Geese and Ducklings where 

Deer have Slept and Birds build Nests 

High in the Silver Pine Trees... 

Be Blessed... now and forever...

Before the Sun Rises it can be sunny and then cloudy before it finally decides to just Cry for a while. That is what is happening here at Six AM in Virginia of the East Coast of the USA by the Rappahannock River. There is no Sun and our Rose Crepe Myrtle bends and Sighs. storms are the best... how they gather, the darkness within them, the destruction they leave paving the way for new life.... even the gentle rain has healing powers.... I remember sitting by the front room window as the torrential rains pour down and a literal river flowed down our street... this was when I was 7 and it was the remnants of hurricane Hazel... the wind rattled the window and howled, it was both terrifying as well as fascinating.... your poem took me back to 1954 Patricia.... thanks for the trip back and for a wonderful poem...

The greylag goose or graylag goose Latin name (Anser anser) is a species of large goose in the waterfowl family Anatidae and the type species of the genus Anser. It has mottled and barred grey and white plumage and an orange beak and pink legs. A large bird, it measures between 74 and 91 centimetres (29 and 36 in) in length, with an average weight of 3.3 kilograms (7 lb 4 oz).
The Greylag goose is a large waterfowl of the Old World and is the ancestor of the domestic goose, having been domesticated at least as early as 1360 BC. It has mottled and barred grey and white plumage and an orange beak and pink legs. Its distribution is widespread, with birds from the north of its range in Europe and Asia migrating southwards to spend the winter in warmer places. They also pair up and mate for life ..
