Meadow Lark Songs

As I walk beside the Rappahannock River 

I hear the Meadow Lark singing Debussy. 

in Soprano scales of Even Tide... 

The Owls are snuggled on the Pine branches 

where Moonbeams gather for evening prayers  

The Fish have gone Upsteam to Dream...

I was waiting for my husband who was in Dialysis while I was in the Lobby with a Tall older gentleman who explained all about the Meadiw Lark Globetrotters.
