I awake to billowy clouds above my head
The scent of sea and salt tickle my nose
Arousing me fully
The ship is moving once again
Who has come to save me
After the sails were ripped apart by strong winds
pounding rains, the ship almost lost if not for a small rock
That stopped it without much damage
I stand up and look at the wonderous sight that beholds my eyes
Seems the stories are true that I have heard throughout life
For the Butterfly King and Queen are at the helm
Thier Royal Army have made sails for the ship
All colors of the rainbow and beyond assualt my sleepy eyes
It floats along merrily toward my homeland
In the distance I see my friends waving
I play my ukelele and sing a Summer song
As the dolphins swimming aside the ship pipe in so strong
The King and Queen have nothing to say
So I sing quietly
to my surprise hear them humming along
The Army floats us softly to shore
Home again to safety and the ones I adore
Such a lovely dream I don't want to wake
under the covers I crawl
squeeze eyes tight
waiting for the ship of butterflies
to sail me away from my troubles
to a calm sea of beautiful colored bubbles
perhaps a mermaid will stop and say hello
