The image of the cloud captures the feeling of insubstantiality (sorry about that word!) ... The pattern is used with skill to create a visual effect of the cloud floating down and the tears that flow... One sense the fractured emotion in the writing -

Interesting and moving

This has a fascinating appearance on the page and it fits so exactly the nature of the work itself. It is like a feather spinning to the ground uncontrollably, moved by extraneous forces; like the emotions. The poem creates an impression of 'other-worldliness' -like the "alien"- created from something unidentifiable, and ultimately metaphysical.
What I am saying is becoming far too complicated - and that statement alone is probably a better way to convey what this poem means.
The most telling thing I can really put my finger on to support all this complexity is simply the last two words of this piece.. They say it all on their own....!!
