Time seemed full of change
He stepped back unwittingly
Then it seemed a wheel
Turning endlessly

The leaves of autumn
The colors enormous
Are the same as last year
Welcome and glorious

The hopes and dreams
Of people you know
Are the same as those
Who stood hundreds of years ago

A warm home
Food, drink, nothing all that strange
And a family to share it with
