What dreams will bring...

Awaking from my dream
Of crashing waves on the shore,
It's where I will take you,
Where we will be, a hundred times more

It's just like a fairy tale,
Where the story has no end,
I will take you by the hand,
With my love, I will always send

Life is but a dream,
As some might say,
Those are the ones who have not found,
Their special gift, while astray

For we are the lucky ones,
Who have been blessed with such treasure,
A love with no bounds,
A love that can't be measured

Dreams really do come true,
Like the a lottery in this case,
Whenever I close my eyes,
I only see your face

So awake with me, my love,
To the place where it all began,
Let's share our dreams for a lifetime,
And I'll never let go of your hand.

I wrote this poem a couple of weeks before Christmas, in anticipation of seeing my love. I hope you all enjoy!

dreams do come true like the lottery...most of the time when we least expect them to...and we often meet that one special person...the same way....when we don't expect to...

life's surprises are what we live for...too much careful planning often leaves us very much alone.
