A Poem by Pax Analog
"

Lyric to multitrack whole song in the playlist player on profile pg.; theme is Spirit 'midst the networking brouhaha.

"

Several billion conversations,
sex and money through the wires
Howls of love and indignation
on this slo-mo funeral pyre

Here, touching when we can
only Heart can stand
as the Promised Land
Here

Hear the random noisy city,
lick your honey in the hive
Marvel in the flesh, cool kitty,
what it is to be Alive

Here. . .

War of words between we phantoms,
me-me-meing la-la-la
Fritter folly is for bantams,
ain’t no path to Shangri-La

Here. . .

Buzz of heightened recognition
of your face before you’re born
The Condition of conditions
of mortality is shorn

Here. . .

You really imbue the feel for this crowded world with all the conversations buzzing but nothing really be said. All of the world is here as journey in search of heaven, but find a funeral pyre at the end. Of course I'm hoping to find Shangri-La if only with one person. If you get it right there is no need to want for more.

There is the sense of a journey throughout this poem that really grabs me. I guess because so many Native American stories are about journeys and the lessons learned along the way. So many waste their lives repeating the same lessons, refusing to learn buzzing the wires with words, but no thoughts behind them. They are like hamsters on a wheel and don't know it as they repeat the same lessons, conversations, mistakes everything until they die.

Amazing to put all of this into a song, but the music is there inside of every line. I have come to expect nothing less from you. Even conversation with you has it's on particular music; from roaring and soaring crescendos of thought to hushed and caring tones.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer - the passage she repeats is truly my favorite for obvious personal reasons - 'these are a few of my favorite things.' Purrfect love. Great work, great song, great voice. Keep it up.
Light,
Siddartha

Gorgeous write Pax! Sometimes I think you are in my head "ain't no path to Shangri-La" for I just am working on a poem with Shangri-La in the contexts. I am off to listen to the song now....

"Hear the random noisy city,
lick your honey in the hive
Marvel in the flesh, cool kitty,
what it is to be Alive"

This verse is amazing ;) i even blush as I comment on it for it's suggestiveness nature lol.
