Have you ever noticed
That the flame
Of a candle
Can light your way
In times of darkness?

Have you ever noticed
That the flames
Of two candles
Can light up a room
When darkness overwhelms you?

Have you ever noticed
That the flames
Of two candles
Burning together
Grow larger in the night?

Have you ever noticed
That if the flame
Of your candle
Should go out
Another can light it again?

Have you ever noticed
That the flame
Of your candle
Is never truly out
Until you give up trying to find another?

Yes it comes across very well, it's a beautiful way of putting it, although there's something about the "Have you ever noticed" that doesn't go well. I think cause when I read it I hear a cheesy comedian.
