Less Ugly Than Hideous

Take her heart, take her soul, and take her life

Blind the truth, lose the clues, forget her words

Watch her scream, see her cry, and grab the knife

Bleed a tear, bleed two eyes, flood the bloody worlds

 

Give her gold, give her love, then give her all

Sing the song, sing the words, and sing the truth

She walks off, she lands low, a golden doll

Speak to her, speak the white, self-killing youth

 

I told her she's gold and that fear shouldn't live

But she tells me an ugly duck she is

I told her to stop and and love I could give

Her frozen heart of doom shatters with ease

 

A beauty she is that she cannot see

I hope one day she can have her self-esteem
